How We Vet Listings

How listings are compiled

Every listing begins as public business data: name, address, phone, website, opening hours and category. We then apply three passes.

1. Deduplication. The same business appears many times across search results. Records are merged on place identity, phone and website, with one important exception: national chains such as Cintas, UniFirst, Vestis and Alsco share a single website across hundreds of branches, so a shared domain is never treated as evidence that two locations are the same business. Each branch stays a separate listing.

2. Classification. Google has no business category for commercial laundry, linen supply or uniform rental — those businesses sit under generic laundry categories alongside corner laundromats. We classify each record by service type using its name, categories, description and website copy. A corner laundromat and an industrial launderer are different businesses and are labelled differently here.

3. Exclusion. We remove records that are not businesses a buyer can hire: unattended pickup lockers, apartment and dormitory laundry rooms, and companies that surface in laundry searches without being laundries — hotels, care providers, equipment manufacturers and retailers.

What we verify, and what we don't

Verified: that the business exists as a public record, its category, and its published contact details at the time of compilation.

Reported, not verified: anything a provider states about itself — service areas, minimum volumes, turnaround, certifications. Where we show a credential such as TRSA Hygienically Clean or HLAC accreditation, it is because the provider publishes that claim. Confirm it directly before signing a contract.

Not shown at all: star ratings aggregated from other platforms. Displaying review scores collected elsewhere as though they were our own would misrepresent where they came from.
